Citizens Sing…Freedom Rings!

With permission of the clergy and lay leadership of the church, all are invited to join in the initial meeting of a singing group here at MGUMC on Sunday afternoon, July 26th, from 2pm to 3pm or so. Tentatively titled ‘Citizens Sing…Freedom Rings!’ the event is planned as an informal and comfortable group singing using various styles of music that speak of freedom, hope, resilience, joy and resistance to tyranny, as a way of building community and expressing concerns in a peaceful way.
