9am - until sold out

Proceeds will help with our outreach programs.

· The Bobby Mac/Joyce Ebright/Bray Brunkhurst Heavenly Hot Dogs, Devilish Drinks/ Coffee Emporium. Many thanks to these folks for having maintained this popular goody stand. Yes, and people do really even eat hot dogs at that hour of the day!

· Cookies and pastries to go along with the coffee for those early-morning visitors.

Sign-up shets will be in the Church Lobby every Sunday prior to this event for both goodies and for work shifts.

· The Treasures tables. The tables will be set up in The Ebenezer Room at the beginning of May, and donations are welcome any time after that. Please bring useable household items. No clothing, no electronics or appliances (stoves, refrigerators, TV’s etc.). No broken items – treasures only, please.

· Hospitality Tent with tables, chairs, and free bottled-water provided.

· Round-the-clock prayer vigil in the Sanctuary

· Bake goodies to go along with the coffee. You can bring these items to the church the day before, but be sure to put them securely in tins. Unfortunately, we continue to have a problem with ants.

· Bring your treasures to the church; place them on the tables provided in The Ebenezer Room. You can help with sorting and assigning prices. You can put a price on your goody; just remember that people come to this event looking for a bargain, so don’t get heavy-handed on the price. And you can also help by signing up for a two-hour shift to sell our wares on Saturday, May 27.

· Sign up to be a hospitality greeter and/or to be a prayer warrior in the Sanctuary.

Please call Melissa Warner at 468-7665 for help with the Treasures Table. Call Dave Hartman at 964-2381 for help with Hospitality and/or Prayer Warrior assistance. Sign-up sheets are available in the Narthex.

Services in the Tabernacle

Starting July 3th our 10:00am worship service will be moving into the Tabernacle. This is always a fun and enjoyable part of summer in our community.

And especially mark your calendars for Sunday, August 13 when we invite Dave Stahl and the Sacred Orchestra to lead worship at 10am.

I hope you are looking forward to it as much as I am.

Each year our church hosts a rest stop for the Hershey Chocolate Tour. The event is a fundraiser for to support cancer research to find the cure at Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute.

This year our church will again host a rest stop. So, as the Chocolate Tour cycling events make their way through the Mount Gretna area on Saturday, August 5th, our members will open our doors and welcome the participants. For this event we are asking for volunteers from the church to bake goodies, help set up, or be on hand on August 5th to welcome the visitors as they arrive. If you are interested in helping this very worthwhile cause, please contact the Church Office at: 717-964-3241.

Warm weather and bright sunshine can mean only one thing: It will soon be summer again and summer means Wet’n Wacky Wednesdays are just around the corner. Wet’n Wacky Wednesdays are simply the best way to have fun at church during the summer if you are a child from K – 6th grade.

This yearly event is our church's way of offering a non-traditional VBS experience for our church and community.  It consists of having games and activities that involve getting wet, making things and people wet, and having as much fun as we can in the process.  There are some skill games like Wacky Water Balloon golf, some team games like the Plumber's Nightmare Relay, and some....well crazy games like the infamous Water Balloon Whack!  But that's not all, we also offer the children a bible story, craft, and snack each night as a way of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with our friends and neighbors.

This year Wet n  Wacky Wednesday will be help on July 19 and July 26 from 6:30-8:00 PM.  Mark your calendars for this fun filled event!

Over the past few years our church has made it a priority to reach out to the youth of our church and community to give them a place to play games, hang out, and have fun.

Starting in September we will once again be inviting youth from our congregation and community ages 9-12 to come out on Sunday afternoons from 4:30 - 5:30 PM to come out and enjoy the fun, games, and fellowship that youth group offers.

Gathering Place offers a time for members of our church and community to come together in friendship and fellowship and enjoy a good meal. All our friends and neighbors are invited to come out and join us. A free will offering is taken to cover the cost of the food. The last luncheon will be on May 24.  We are off for the summer, but will return September 27 with a whole new season you won't want to miss!

A food bank donation is collected the 1st Sunday of each month.

The items can be placed in the front lobby of the church.

Donations benefit the Lebanon County Christian Ministries.

Cereal, instant mashed potatoes, canned potatoes, canned meats (12 oz. 'spam'), 5oz canned chicken, canned fruit, vegetable soup, crackers, 12-18oz jam or jelly, 18oz peanut butter, canned pasta, toilet paper/paper towels, facial tissues, personal care items, toothbrush/toothpaste, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, diapers size 4,5,6

Do you like to sing? Do you like to read? Than worship is the place for you to volunteer your time and talents! We always have openings for new choir members and liturgists. And joining is easy: If you would like to join the choir please contact our Choir Director, Bob McCullough at 717-964-3495 or stop by one of the choir practices listed in the Sunday bulletin. If you would like to become a liturgist, and read one or more of the scriptures in a service on Sunday mornings, just contact Pastor Mike or sign-up using the Liturgist Schedule posted on the bulletin board in the lobby of the church.
